Kyle Weiner
Hi, I’m Kyle, a senior Data Science student at the University of Florida. I love working with AI and machine learning, especially on problems in bioinformatics where I’ve built models to study protein-peptide interactions.
I’ve also had the chance to get real-world experience: I spent a summer on Walmart’s Transportation Data Science team, building forecasting models to make their supply chain more efficient, and I’m currently working with the Tampa Bay Rays on a project analyzing pitcher consistency.
I’m comfortable in C++, Python, R, SQL, and Tableau, and I use frameworks like PyTorch, Keras, and TensorFlow in my projects. When I’m not coding or working on research, I’m probably reading science fiction, biking or building mechanical keyboards.
